How It Can Benefit You
What is neurofeedback?
Understanding the Science Behind Brain Optimization
Neurofeedback training is a method that encourages your brain to respond naturally to rewards, ultimately aiding in restoring itself to a balanced state with various brain wave patterns. Much like how you might hit the gym to build strength or go for a run to enhance cardiovascular health, neurofeedback aims to optimize brain function gradually. During each session, as your brain receives positive feedback, it begins to learn and adapt, moving towards a more typical state without requiring constant reinforcement. Similar to how muscles strengthen with repeated lifting and lungs improve with regular running, your brain becomes more resilient with each neurofeedback session. It's akin to a workout for your brain, without the need for long runs or heavy weights
Before each appointment, it's essential to ensure your hair is clean. Please wash your hair on the day of your appointment, fully dry it, and refrain from using gels, heavy hair sprays, or other hair care products.
During your session, we'll place a cap on your head equipped with 20 electrodes. Each electrode requires a salt-based gel to ensure optimal conduction for accurately reading brain waves. Your initial appointment will include a QEEG (brain map) conducted with both closed and open eyes, typically lasting 20-30 minutes, depending on the quality of the QEEG.
Monitoring individual responses and adjusting sessions accordingly is crucial for maximizing the effectiveness of the treatment. Since neurofeedback impacts individuals differently, it's understandable that results may vary from person to person. Regular monitoring and adjustments based on progress are key elements in optimizing the outcome for each individual undergoing treatment. If you have any questions or concerns about your specific treatment plan, feel free to ask!

Why is our system and method what you’re looking for?
Comprehensive and Advanced Neurofeedback Training
The system that we use for neurofeedback has the capability of completing not only Zscore training but also incorporates sLoretta training as well. Our approach is comprehensive and advanced, focusing not just on specific brain waves but also on training entire brain networks and connectivity. By targeting various regions of the brain in a top-to-bottom, front-to-back approach, you're aiming to optimize overall brain function. Utilizing a normative database to compare and train individuals' brains against neurotypical peers of the same age is a particularly insightful method, providing a valuable reference point for progress and optimization. This thorough approach is tailored to provide clients with the most effective neurofeedback training available.
Training the efficiency and speed of information sharing within the brain during each session is a powerful strategy. By enhancing these cognitive processes, individuals can experience improvements in focus, overall brain function, and potentially achieve deeper results from neurofeedback therapy. It's fascinating how directly targeting these aspects of neural communication can lead to tangible benefits in everyday life.
Owen (12 years old)
“After 20 sessions of neurofeedback my brain started to feel so much better! I don’t feel so tired in class and I am not as rude and angry as I was before. I feel happier and I’m not so tired in the mornings anymore. I love my neurofeedback sessions!”
Sawyer (10 years old)
“I am sleeping better at night. Before I started neurofeedback, I had a hard time falling asleep at night and my parents told me that I would sleep walk. I haven’t been sleepwalking in over a month and I fall asleep faster.”
Julie, mom to a 13-year-old
“Our child would never give me a hug or say ‘I love you’, she was emotionally distant towards me. As a mom, it is so hard to have a child not be emotionally connected to you. After 10 sessions my child walked up to me while I was cooking dinner one night, gave me a hug and said ‘I love you mom!’. If there was one thing I could gain from her neurofeedback sessions, this is it! This is a huge win and we are so excited to continue neurofeedback.”
Julie - mom of 13 year old
"Our daughter used to have meltdowns extremely often. Those are a thing of the past and she seems to have a new confidence with herself and confidence when interacting with peers too. Overall she seems happier. Her grades at school have improved and the teacher who works with her said that she seems more involved and organized. But the biggest win with her is that she expresses her love for me, her mother, daily. I get hugs and told "Mom, I love you!" This was really hard for her before. If you are wondering if NeuroFit is for your or a loved one please give it a chance. It may change your life. Our kids look forward to coming. I truly believe that they feel the changes more than they are able to express."
Julie - mom of 10 year old
"NeuroFit has helped my children in such positive ways. My husband and I have seen documentation of both their testing scores improving tremendously. Our son recalls "It's weird, I feel like I'm able to notice everything more in class, like focusing more! (he's 10!) He has a desire to read without being told to read."
